What’s the dress code?
The dress code is formal (not black tie). Suits, jackets and ties for men - no tails. Women usual wedding attire so long or mid length colourful dresses with hats optional.
Where should we stay?
We have suggested several different accommodation choices on our More Details page.
How do we get to the venue?
We are providing transport from the venue to the Marriott departing at midnight. For all other transport needs, we recommend 001 Taxis on 01235 355600. Given our wedding is based in a rural area, we recommend you pre-book your taxis. We would advise not using Go Green Taxis as they overcharge.
Can we bring our kids?
We’re only able to invite our close family’s children to our wedding. We hope you can enjoy a child free night and celebrate with us!
Can I park at the venue?
Yes there is parking available at the venue but please don’t park in front of the main house which is where we will be having photos. You’ll be directed to a car park near the marquee.
Can we buy you a wedding gift?
The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept a small contribution towards our honeymoon. Please find our registry.
Can I leave my car at the venue and get ready there?
You are welcome to leave your car at the venue overnight, please follow the signs to the car park at the venue and do not park in front of the house. You will need to pick your car up before 11am on Sunday. Unfortunately there are no areas available to get ready at the venue, however we have made some rooms available at The Marriott for early check in. Please do give them a call to confirm if your room is available.
